I have a local folder with several emails that i am trying to send to a gmail account. It's everything well configured because when i move up to about 10 emails from my local folder to a folder of the gmail account it does it. The problem is when i try to move an ammount over than that. For example when i try to move 20 e-mails, it reports an error saying:

"imap server connection expired" (translated)

Any tips on this? I have to upload over 1000 emails and i can't do it one by one... Thanks

basically you will have to do it one by one or in very limited batches as they protocol was never meant to be a bulk file transfer process. Gmail needs an import process... just as it has a take out process. They have not.

Disabling email scanning in your anti virus is usually a sure fire way to get more through before the timeout happens as it dramatically slows things down.
