Have installed and reinstalled, the Opera brower can access all sites fine Have reinstalled Mozilla and still the same problem. How can I sync my firefox settings between devices if the damn thing can't work straight of the shelf at even a basic level.

Are you using any add-ons?

Did you install Firefox for Android from the Google Play store?
