Thunderbird folder indicated unread mail, but doesn't display any content.
A folder, named "All Mail" indicates it has unread mail. When opening the folder it displays nothing. It has the spinning wheel as if it is attempting to download. Eventually it stops spinning but displays no content. I can't delete the folder, but I can add and removed a sub-folder.

It probably is trying to download. ALL mail is your entire google mail store for all mail in the account. It may be gigabytes in size.
