Firefox 78.16.0esr is pretty old as Firefox 78.0 was released back June 30, 2020 so it is out of date. The Firefox 78.15.0esr is the most current Firefox to support the old eol macOS 10.9, 10.10, 10.11 as macOS 10.12 -10.14 is supported by Firefox 115 ESR.
