firefox is not launched from thunderbird and endnote URL

I used to be able to click on a link from Thunderbird and Firefox could be opened, but now it doesn't do anything. Also, when I click on a URL from Endnote, Firefox doesn't open.

First thing to check: is Firefox set as your default browser.

  1. Go to Tools > Options
  2. Click the Advanced panel
  3. Click on General tab

You will find at right bottom a button Check now, click it. A little window will tell you if Firefox is default, then choose. Restart Thunderbird and test a link.
