some sites hang up waiting for google-analytics.com then never load
several sites, apparently those who have google-analytics embedded, hang up "waiting for google-analytics.com". the sites that have this issue will not open or load. This is frustrating! alot of websites, including my own, cannot be opened because of this bug!

Hi there,
Some websites use tracking code made by Google (called Google Analytics) to track the traffic on their sites. It unfortunately requires JavaScript so you'll have to run it in order to go to that sites. Although there might be some fixes around to solve this issue, but I am not aware of that.
Regards, Ziggy

I started having this problem 2 weeks ago. I also had Random redirects of browser as well
I tryed following 1/ Searched for virus none found 2/ Changed DNS settings to automatic - they where set on Ukrainien servers ! No more Random redirects of browser (for the moment) 3/ Started Firefox in safe mode Seems - for the moment - that "waiting for google-analytics.com..." stopped occuring !
But no modules left !
I have found that all I have to do is hit the REFRESH button. The waiting ends and the page I was trying to access finally loads. Has worked every time, dozens of times so far.
I guess the poster has advertising on their site, but the advertising might be from the provider of the web space. In any case if you eliminate those ads such sites will come up several times faster (and be safer) unless the site itself involves Flash. Blocking obnoxious artifacts on Mozilla Support pages make them come up faster and be able to scroll better.
Having a hosts file and the Adblock Plus extension can make things go a lot better.
