After upgrade to 3.6.9 I'll be surfing and then it says Firefox stopped working and closes. I had no problems till this upgrade
I use Firefox for Facebook and it's games only. I double clicked my ICON and it said it needed to do an upgrade. As I always do I let it upgrade. Once on facebook I'll be checking on friends or go to a game and it says Firefox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Check the "Year" on your Computer. We discovered that somehow it was changed to 2065 during the automatic update from Firefox. We changed the year back to 2010 and all the programs appear to be working fine now.
I have this problem (assuming it's with Windows 7 and the message is that Firefox has stopped working). Firefox never gets a chance to report a problem and Windows doesn't, either. I submitted a similar problem last night but this said it needed to verify my email address before posting it and I never got the email.
I think it is related to FF using high amounts of CPU and Windows 7 thinking that it is not responding when it may not be totally hung.

PS my year is just fine, that is not the issue.
We are currently typing on the computer we have been discussing about in our microblogs; which is a Window 2000 Professional OS. Apparently, the problem is not completely resolved, because we removed the Firefox Browser from it. But due to the update, we are also experiencing Security Certificate Issues as well. Following the update on or around Sept. 10th, 2010, we notice that the Firefox Browser constantly asked for a security certificate verification on frequent web pages we visited. Well, apparently this situation is continuing on a totally different Internet Browser. This computer is clean of virus(es) & malware...so that is not the issue. We suspect that the update from Firefox may have change some internal security configurations in Windows Operating Systems. Noting the Comment from a Window 7 user, the Firefox Bug has possibly caused internal issues in all Windows Operating Systems.
Still no help I've tried all of these and still no help Mozilla hasn't done anything either. Time to Uninstall and let others know it isn't any good. Chrome Here I come.
