When uninstalling FF due to a trojan, I lost my bookmarks. Is there any way to get them back?
I was warned by McAfee that I suddenly had acquired a Trojan while on Firefox. A window popped up and would not close. I restarted my computer, but it would automatically restart FF, too. I had to uninstall FF to make it go away, losing all my bookmarks. I have reinstalled FF because we love it. Is there any way to restore my bookmarks? Would FF have any record of us anywhere and be able to restore them? We had tons for personal and business use...

That seems only to apply if you have not uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, which is what I did. I cannot bring them over from anywhere. Can't find them!
Did you remove personal data while uninstalling Firefox ?
If not then your profile folder should still be there.
- "Application Data" in XP/Win2K and "AppData" in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.
- Use %APPDATA% in the File name field
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders
Go to: Control Panel > Folder Options > "View" tab > under "Hidden files and folders", select "Show hidden files and folders"
To see the file extensions of all files uncheck the box "Hide extensions for known file types"
- XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
