Most programs including Firefox have a menu bar. This seems to have gone in FF4. How do I get it back, or do I go back to FF3.x

You can press Alt to show it up temporarily. If you want it to show permanently, press Alt to make the menu bar show, then right-click it and choose Menu Bar.
