I prefer the old version because when I opened a "New Tab" a page of several of my most visited sites would show up. Thanks

Now when I open a "New Tab" it is just a blank white page.

That is not a standard feature in Firefox, it was added by an extension. Which extensions are disabled in Firefox 5 due to lack of compatibility?
