For AVG Free 2012:
AVG Free 2012.1808 HotFix 01 adds support for Firefox 7
AVG LinkScanner 2012.1808 Hotfix 01 adds support for Firefox 7

For AVG paid version 9:
AVG 9 is still supported for virus signatures, but I don't know whether the browser add-ons are being updated.
Hope this helps.
That's a great idea however, I have a 3 computer purchased version of AVG Internet Security which has features other then the free version which you refer to.
What I would appreciate is a hot patch fix from AVG for my 9.0.9.914 so that it will function properly with Firefox 7 and not pay for an upgrade to the 2012 version until my current license is complete.
As someone who has worked in software for years I seriously doubt that AVG has painted it self in such a corner that the fix available for the current version could not in fact be easily fashioned to do the same for my AVG version.
Further, I have not received any word from AVG that they have discontinued support for my version. If your suggestion is AVG's way of informing me of that fact I will be disappointed.
As a paying customer I feel that my request is in order.
THX just the same!
If you have time left on your annual contract, you really should get a free version upgrade. Have you tried it?

Hi jscher2000,
So there is something I need to ask ... do you simply love AVG and have a lot of time on your hands to answer questions like this or are you in a relationship of any kind with AVG? IF so would you please explain that relationship?
Thx!
I've answered questions about AVG a few times in the past, so I have a pretty good idea where to look for the current status. I neither use nor have any connection with AVG. (I don't particularly recommend it, either; I'm just here to help with Firefox questions.)
