I'm on the beta channel on firefox using windows 7. Today I checked for updates via the help menu and it upgraded to version 15. Adobe Flash no longer works. If I go to a site that has an embedded youtube video on a webpage it says "adobe flash has crashed. If I try to watch a movie on a youtube page the video just flat out doesn't load. Theres nothing there where the video should be. My adds on and everything are up to date, cleared my cache and everything. Everything works normal on Google Chrome.

There is a good possibility this is a FlashPlayer 11.3 issue. if so the problem is that you have! updated Flash.

Some users find that secure Flash 10.3 works, or the less secure but more recent Flash 11.2 works without video problems.

Firefox may not be fully documenting the problems; but some users are finding downgrading FlashPlayer helps. The instructions may be found in the article

  • flash 11.3 crashes note that advises using the Adobe uninstaller, that may in turn cause other problems; for instance you may need to reinstall FlashPlayer for IE.
