I have: * Restarted in "Safe Mode" * Reset my Firefox to "out of the box" (there are no themes or plugins currently installed) * Run with Java activated and with Java disabled (I'm aware that there are issues with the current version of Java 7). * Uninstalled & Reinstalled Firefox * Tried going to different wesites (*every* site I go to - even very common sites - I can never get to the point where I can even use the scroll bar to scroll down because Firefox issues the "Not Responding" alert) * run 3 different virus scanning programs (Norton 360, MalwareBytes, CCleaner) - I'm clean * I pressed "Continue" and other times clicked "Stop Script"; either way after a while I get another popup box asking the same question * never used Webroot Spy Sweeper * waited til my dinner got cold * accessed the same sites in Chrome and never have a hint of a problem Almost every time I'm aware of the script is a java script, but I've also updated java to the current version People - I am dead in the water without a clue. Firefox is completely useless to me in this state. Please dear God help...
