portion of the screen to extreme left, underneath horizontal toolbars became "Bookmarks". I did not command or seek this. I cannot seem to remove

The column appears under the horizontal toolbar which shows web address and google search window. I've tried left and right clicks to no avail. How can I restore the firefox screen to where entire horizontal space is occupied by the web page I select?

hello NEWBRU1, this sounds as if you have selected the bookmarks sidebar to be displayed. just click on the 'X' on its top right to close it or press the keyboard shortcut ctrl+B...
