Autocomplete is remembering/suggesting multiple but identical options for text fields.

Since at least the latest install of FF (ver 23), the autocomplete function for text fields seems to be duplicating entries. I have purged my profile, thinking something may have gotten corrupted, but the new profile did the same thing once I started entering data. Note: It did completely clear out my history, it's repeating NEW entries.

For example: 1. I type "Joe Smith" for the first time, and it correctly remembers it. 2. I then go to complete the form a 2nd time, type in "Joe" and it suggests one entry, "Joe Smith". I tap my down key and hit enter to select the suggestion, and it fills out the form. 3. Now, for the third time, I go to complete the form again. Once again, I type in "Joe", but this time it offer two "Joe Smith" entries. Both are identical, there's no extra characters or white spaces. Even if I delete the 2nd "Joe Smith" entry, it comes back later.

The max duplicates it seems to remember of any given entry appears to be two.

I use LastPass, but I don't use any other form-fill addons/software.

hello khymaera, i've seen some other reports about that issue and it seems to be a genuine bug in version 23 which hasn't been addressed yet.
