How can I get rid of "ads not by this site" pop ups?

Some web sites will have words underlined and when I scroll over them, an ad pops up. The will say "ads not by this site" And the site will not work properly.

Uninstall extensions called Adlycris, LyricsSay and SeeSimilar. These extensions display "ads not by this site ads", learn more:

Then run Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner. Avast browser clean up tool may help as well.
