Hi,

at some point during the weekend Firefox Sync stopped working completely; apparently it can't connect to the sync server. Same for all devices (desktop, laptop, phone) and on both Windows (7x64) and Fedora (20x64).

Same problem as here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2783549 - apparently not a completely isolated incident?

ISP is FUNET, the Finnish University and Research Network.

That has some useful links in it. The problem turned out to be a Canadian DNS problem.

The Firefox Sync service is operating, however we are having some DNS propagation issues, which should be resolved very shortly.
