Hi G-Hot, what happens when you try to log out of Youtube?
You already know the standard things to try first and how to do them:
- Clear Firefox cache
- Remove youtube.com and google.com cookies
- Try the same operation in Firefox's Safe Mode
Did those make any difference?
Try to delete the YouTube cookies.
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
It is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted if clearing cookies doesn't work.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
hi jscher2000 and cor-el , I've followed both your instructions! And I've done this many times, but it did not help? Any other solutions?

The problem you have is only when you exit and restart Firefox?
The persistent cookie used to keep you logged in may have been cleared.
(1) If you check immediately upon restarting Firefox, can you see any cookies for Google or Youtube in the cookies dialog?
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Privacy > Show Cookies
(2) You mentioned "I have 2 programs for Cleaning". What do those programs do?
Or perhaps we should lock this thread, since there already is a detailed discussion in the other one and this is the identical problem.
