I love my old HP Pavilion d7-3183, and love the way Firefox, and Trend Security software run on my laptop. But, every few days at "start-up", I'm asked to continue my Microsoft Edge setup, which I have only the option to "continue", or delay. I delay, but then my Firefox browser has to be re installed, themes, add-ons, etc. This is a problem. I believe I've exhausted the info I have to try and suppress this very annoying intrusion by MS Edge.

Have you attempted an aggressive removal of MSEdge?

Either the way presented in this KB (https://www.cloudwards.net/how-to-uninstall-microsoft-edge/) or through using Revo Uninstaller? (https://www.revouninstaller.com/)
