I have recently upgarded firefox to 29.0.1. I use the bookmark star (two times, to save in s specific folder) often. Earlier, the dropdown menu under the option 'Folder' use to display Choose.. and below that about 5 folders, used recently, most recent on top. But after the upgrade, the 5 folders are static. They show the same 5. Almost all the time. Why ? Any solution ?

If you choose a new folder for the current bookmarked page you are on, by clicking on the star on a page that is already boomarked, the most recent folder saved will indeed show up. However for a new page, the defualt folder I see is the Unsorted bookmarks and I have to click the dropdown to change this. But the list of recent folders still shows up in the most recent order.
