Upgraded to version 31.0 now when composing messages many addresses show up in red color and search portion is not replaced in address line.

Address search when composing a message in previous version would find address book entry and when you selected the suggested entry would replace the searched characters with the selected entry and the display would be in a black font. Now under version 31 many (but not all) found addresses display in a red color font and the searched for characters are not replaced - just added to, which makes for a possible invalid address. Tried various address book entries with no obvious reason for black or red. Tried running in safe mode - same.
