I have windows 8. I can no longer start thunderbird even in safe mode. I have to delete the program and reinstall it each time. it works perfectly until I close program and then I can't open it again.

@jeffmonsein You are currently posting in Firefox category, for thunderird problems please make a thread in the section for thunderbird
