I want to create a link to a Google (spread)sheet that I can have on my toolbar. I access this spreadsheet frequently and just want to link to the page. When I right click on the page, nothing happens. I know I've done it before, although I'm not sure how. I have a workaround but it's tedious and this is something that isn't unusual for me as the common spreadsheet I use changes.

Any ideas?

When you have the Google Sheet open you should be able to create a bookmark like you would with any other page.

  • Open the Google Sheet
  • Click the Star bookmark button. This will create the bookmark.
  • Click the Star bookmark button again and you can place the bookmark where you want it (IE. Bookmark toolbar) by clicking on the Folder dropdown list.

Now you should be able to click that bookmark and go right to the Google Sheet. The support articles below will give you a visual to follow. Hope that helps.
