FF33 update does not work
Upgraded to FF33 and FF crashed immediately on starting. I uninstalled FF and removed all profiles, and user data. After reinstalling FF it still immediately crashes on starting. Applied Windows updates and Adobe Flash updates before the FF update.

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
- Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
- In that text field, enter %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
- From that explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox and then on Crash reports. Double-click on submitted.
- Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to View > Arrange Icons by > Modified to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
- Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
- Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!

thanks for reporting back with those reports. can you try updating your intel graphics driver to the newest version that is available and see if this can address the issue: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23764 (for win7 64 bit)
Unfortunately, corporate policy forbids us from using generic drivers on our PCs. This is the best we can do http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=5078592&spf_p.tpst=swdMain&spf_p.prp_swdMain=wsrp-navigationalState%3Didx%253D%257CswItem%253Dvc_133343_1%257CswEnvOID%253D4059%257CitemLocale%253D%257CswLang%253D%257Cmode%253D%257Caction%253DdriverDocument&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken
ok then please try the one provided by HP, this will also be a big improvement.
in case this doesn't solve the issue, start firefox into safemode by pressing the shift key while the application is launching & disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).
Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
otherwise a fix for this crash is scheduled to be released later this week in a firefox 33.0.1 release...
I have been advised not to change the build on the PC but wait until FF33.0.1 and in the meantime use IE or Chrome.
Please close this incident.
