Problem loading any website using Firefox
I always need to move my mouse so that the loading process continues. Whenever I click the mouse to open up the browser, my home page, or any other website for that matter, does not load properly. You can see that it is trying to load (because there is that green circle moving clockwise in the tab) but if I do not move the mouse, it just stops. As long as I move the mouse, the loading process works just fine. I doubt if my security suite (bitdefender) has anything to do with it because if it were trying to block any website I type in, it should show a message, would it? I have done almost all of the troubleshooting steps suggested by firefox and have gone as far as uninstalling & reinstalling it but nothing seems to work. It has been going on for quite a while and I'm really, really pissed off. Hope somebody can shed light into this. Thanks.

Hello,
Other users who experienced similar problems solved it by checking for malware. Check for suspicious extensions:
- Tools (or ) > Add-ons > Extensions
Check your list of install programs in Windows - Control Panel > Programs and Features. Usually malware comes bundled with other applications, so if you sort by date and see several applications installed at the same day, it may be easier to find suspicious applications that way.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
