Couple of options: Either create a mailing list and add only those contacts you want to export. Then select the Mailing list and click on Tools > Export. You can then save as .csv file. then you can import that .csv file as an address book. Then move all contacts into whatever address book you wish or leave as is. Once installed, in Address Book You can select / highlight various contacts right click on highlighted contacts and choose 'Export' and select from options...export as text, vcard or .csv
