Constant "connecting msg", even when Mozilla is checking for updates. IE explorer is working while Mozilla fails.

Mozilla getting constant "connecting" msg even while IE explorer is working with no problem. The Windows troubleshooter does not identify the problem. Mozilla version 30.0.5. Tried to uninstall with no success.

Problem resolved by disabling all add-ons and then rebooting.

Problem resolved now... disabled all add-ons and rebooted.

Hi lexdcs, it is great you solve the problem, but maybe you don't have to disabling all add-ons, you can test for faulty extensions.

Yes...Ideato... I used your method to verify the extensions and no issue found. I suspect the problem may be related to add-ons and, I will check/verify those as needed since I have the all marked as "ask to activate". Thank you for the verification procedure.
