Unable to completely delete email address

Email account still has old host server address, even though i've deleted the email address and recreated it with the new host server address. I still get error message saying 'Sending of password for user admin@host.net did not succeed. Mail server pop.host.hoster.com responded: (#MBR1313) Incorrect username or password.' What do I do to fix this?

You have tried to adjust an existing mail account's settings?

Better to set it up as a new and separate account.
