How do I delete the speicale account

I set up Thunderbird, and one of the email accounts I added It set as a special account. I can't receive email to this account. So I want to know how to delete? And if I delete it then add it back will it make it a special account again?

Thunderbird creates a Local Folders and it is a special account. It is default and cannot be removed. Is that what you are referring to?http://kb.mozillazine.org/Local_Folders
