I remember that I once a title bar above the horizontal list of tabs, which showed the title of the currently open tab. But it's not there now; and there's no option on the "View" menu (which is where I think I saw it before) to add it. What's going on, and how can I get the title bar back?

Do you have that option on Mac in the Customize palette?

You can toggle the title bar on/off via the "Title Bar" button at the bottom left in the Customize palette window.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).
