the new firefox browser can't remeber any of my settings, after every start i must do all of them new, why?

I start the browser customize the interface then go into the options do my settings and the next time when i start the browser everything is at default, its frustrating.........

The toolbar customization is stored in the browser.uiCustomization.state pref.

Do you otherwise lose personal data like bookmarks and cookies in case you keep some?
