Every timei access any web site, FireFox asks if I want it to remember the password. I don't want it EVER to remember a password for me. I don't want it even to ask - it's just a nuicance.

I have seem plenty of instructions for voiding any remembered passwords - but that's not what I want. I want to disable the feature completely.
