How can I organize bookmarks directly on the device (i.e., without using Sync)?

Organizing my bookmarks on a desktop then using sync to get them on my android device is not at all useful for me, since I use the two platforms for totally different purposes. There are *maybe* four or five bookmarks that would be used on both platforms, and I absolutely do not want the remaining bookmarks "synced" between the two.

I see that you have cribbed on some sort of 'tag' identifier on the android bookmark system, however since there doesn't appear to be a way to actually view bookmarks based on the tags on my android device, this is not a solution to this very real issue.

This has been a long-standing issue with your Android browser, and it is the only one that actively prevents me from adopting it on my android devices. I would love to have a single browser solution for android devices, and if it weren't for this unaddressed issue, Firefox would be it.
