why cant my firefox windows open? they would say firefox has stopped working then 'Windows will close program and notify me if a solution is available. help pls
whenever i click onto my firefox, it doesnt open but instead says that firefox has stopped working. then it would always end by me clicking on a 'close program' when they show me the usual 'A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. there seems to be no solutions AT ALL so i decided to come here and ask.

If you start in Firefox safe mode, does that work? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode If so, it could be an extension causing the problem.

If you still have problems,
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
