I can sign into my thunderbird account... can you reset my password?

There is no such thing as a Thunderbird account so you are correct you cannot sign into it. As for your email password, that is administered by your email provider and you need to work with them to reset a forgotten password. Most providers have a link to reset passwords on their email help page.
