I recently bought a new computer with Windows 10, and although my Thunderbird E-Mail has been working well, the last couple of days the 'sent' messages link on the drop-down menu on the left has disappeared! How do I get it back?

Did you try repair the webmail folder?

  • Right click on the folder click on Properties >> Repair Folder

Also try create a sent folder:
