norton come inside my computer thingy is not being let in, I think firefox is blockin it. How do I let them inside my computer?

Norton can not come inside my computer to help me. When I download their program to come inside something is stopping it and I think its firefox. What do I need to do to get them in? They are going to call me back in a hour.
