What messages are you seeing?

I thought Turbo did it's own downloads. Check the firewall.

What do you mean by "Firefox does not recognize that I am on the internet"? Are you launching a Firefox window or tab from inside TurboTax?

When I load turbo tax and open it on my computer, Turbo Tax asks me to update the tax forms. When I click okay, turbo tax gives me a message that I am not connected to the internet. Someone else mentioned that it might be a problem with the firewall. When I use my wife's computer, I don't have this problem with turbo tax.

Firefox is not involved. Turbo Tax tried to access the web, and could not. Check the firewall, and your protection programs.
