I can not sign into yahoo mail from Thunderbird, I can from a browser

All other email accounts work fine. The only one which will not open from Thunderbird is yahoo mail. The server which comes up during set up is imap.mail.yahoo.com, on port 993. User name and password work from Firefox..

Comparing with my own Yahoo account in Thunderbird, that's the correct server and port number. Did you include the domain as part of your username? (In my case it's '@ymail.com'). Also connection security should be 'SSL/TLS' with 'normal password'.

Entries match, except you're y mail and I'm imap.mail.yahoo.com. I've tried Claws and Evolution, same results, "is username or password wrong "
