Desktop Computer Windows 10 loaded automatically when I was in another room NOW--- On Firefox--

When I go to save an online photo to My Pictures folder.. The SAVE AS FILE TYPE: line that generally says JPG or GIF etc-----is blank. Dropdown menu only says ALL FILES

The picture doesnt save in My PICTURES folder, as a result..

It works perfectly on Google Chrome.

Make sure that you add the correct file extension for the image (e.g. .jpg or .png or .gif) if Firefox doesn't supply it automatically.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
