when I try to open to fullscreen view it doesn't

watching videos is my relax time....weirdly enough the screen wants to stretch out but will only fill the space inside the browser box it appears in.

Try to rename/remove the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
