I would like either an add-on or config setting that would either create a new button or hotkey, or change the functionality of the "bookmark star". When you are on a page that is already bookmarked the star is blue. I need to click it and then remove bookmark to unbookmark it. This is 2 clicks which is way too many. Alternatively, one can do Ctrl+D and then Alt+R, but that is still two steps. I have add-ons that have all sorts of options such as adding one without a prompt or modifying the star, but I cannot find a way to remove a bookmark in one step. An option to make the star a toggle would be fine too. Is this more complicated to achieve than I think? Thank you for any input.

You can remove bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar and in the bookmarks sidebar via the right-click context menu. Otherwise you would have to navigate to this bookmark in the "Show your bookmarks" drop-down list (button next to star).
