LATEST UPDATE DOESNT ALLOW ME TO WATCH SOME VIDEOS. WHY? CAN I DISABLE THE LAST UPDATE?

Since the last update I get a message stating format not supported. A restore got around the problem but it keeps updating and putting me back where I started with format not supported. How do i get around this?

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Update. Check the settings.
