I just downloaded the new Version of Firefox 54.0 and now when I open my firefox start page the youtube page also opens together, so now I have two tabs or page opening everytime. How do I stop the youtube page opening with my firefox start or homepage, I tried unstalling and restalling firefox many times but I cannot get rid of this problem, can you help me to fix this problem, thank you.

No need to uninstall. Firefox's Home Page setting actually allows multiple home page tabs. If you get the same unwanted pages when you launch a new window (Ctrl+n), then that's definitely the place to check.

See: How to set the home page

It may be hard to see, but there's a vertical bar between URLs in the home page address box. For example:

https://www.google.com/|https://www.youtube.com/

When removing an unwanted address, I suggest deleting from right to left and removing the vertical bar last. Otherwise, the first address might become corrupted with extraneous characters.

Was that it?

Hi IslandBozs, were you able to check the home page setting on the Options page?

You can also check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.
