V56.0 Was very dead slow in procesing request

Hi,

Yesterday I updated Firefox to the latest version. Today morning I resumed my regular activities but firefox troubling a lot. I am so much frustrated on this update because each and every new action eats up 2 - 3secs. 1.) When I pressed ctrl+t to open new tab, browsers hangs up and after 5secs new tab is opening. 2.) When I tried to enter information on a form or even here, it takes almost 2 - 3secs to show the characters I typed. 3.) Even the navigation button the keyboard which is used to scroll down webpages, eats much time to respond each new click. After I pressed the button, the browser hangs for seconds and scrolls down. Again repeating same. 4.) Switching between browsers also hangs few seconds and then showing.

Still there are a lot more thing. But Chrome works lightening fast. I am using Intel Desktop I5 processor with 16GB Ram.

After update I facing severe issues.

Awaiting a solution.

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if that works better.

  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
  • Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
