Why firefox quantum doesn't support vimFx?

My favorite text editor is Vim. So I am used to with vim's shortkey. I am using vimFx in firefox 56 for using the vim shortkey. But, I noticed that firefox quantum doesn't support vimFx. So, I haven't update my firefox yet.

Hello, Quantum does not support VimFx, because supporting VimFx would require access to internal Firefox pages -- and the API is not ready yet, if you want to find replacements, try this handy tool: https://mozilla.github.io/extension-finder/
