Are there trackers included in Firefox for Android? A: no, there are no trackers. LeanPlumb is there for contextual hints; Doubleclick is a false positive
Exodus reports that tracker's signatures were found in Firefox for Android:
https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/reports/177/
Why is that? Are these trackers really included in the app? Otherwise, why would they appear in the exodus report?
Thank you

Hi
Thank you for your question. I need to contact some Mozilla staff about this to better understand the issue, but I will respond when I know more.
For documentation about what permissions Firefox requests see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-firefox-android-use-permissions-it-requests
Hi Fffred
Lean Plumb (one of the two trackers you mention) is used to offer up contextual hints (i.e. based on the user's context of using Firefox for Android's features, offer some hints). These hints are not ads and your information is not tracked by Mozilla.
More info here:

As for Doubleclick, the other tracker, I don't know. Hopefully Seburo, kbrosnan or i can track down some folks who can explain it.
Cheers!
