Thunderbird Emails older than 2 weeks deleted

Thunderbird - Emails older than 2 weeks are deleted. Have checked don't delete messages on Synchronization & Storage tab, but inbox messages still disappear after 2 weeks. Is there any way to find old emails or keep them from being deleted after 2 weeks.

Who is your email provider? What is their retention policy of mail on their server. That you have a synchronization and storage panel means that retention settings in Thunderbird are over ridden by the server as you are using IMAP.

Hello,

I have quite similar problem. I reinstalled TB today, Oct 9th and the emails dowloaded were only from the Oct 1st. Does anyone know how to download emails older than that? I'm using POP.
