Browsing reddit.com freezes windows
Since a few days ago I noticed that when I browse reddit.com on Firefox my pc freezes.
This does not happen when I browse reddit.com with Chrome.
Windows 10 with FF 60.0.1.

HI, try disabling the Reddit Enhancement Suite Extension you have installed.
SAFE MODE
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
TEST''''is issue still there ?

Hey.
I thought this solved my problem, but no. Apparently FF freezes only on sub reddits with animated gifs...
Hi, This was a Bug 2 yrs ago but fixed. Please see solution here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1178597 and make sure please you go through it all.

This will not freeze FF.
I think I know how to reproduce this for me. Go to a sub reddit with gifs, for example https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/.
Now you have to choose the display format (see picture). When browsing like this, FF freezes after a few seconds.
