When you start Firefox, it opens your home page.

Apparantly you have used the above mentioned URL to create your desktop shortcut.

(Google is the default search engine in Firefox, but you are free to change it to any other search engine)

You can change your home page, to whatever page you want Firefox to open at startup - see this article :
